CODE OF ETHICS

MUM is based on the belief in the Fatherhood and Motherhood of God, the Brotherhood of Man, and Humanitarian, Democratic ideas. MUM Ministers are dedicated to service for the welfare of mankind through the guidance of Spirit for the betterment of mankind.

The Ministry is a public and sacred trust that requires of its practitioners, integrity, compassion, belief in the dignity and worth of all human beings, a commitment to service and a dedication to truth. It requires mastery of individual spiritual gifts, and the knowledge and skill gained through professional education and experience. The end sought is the performance of a service with integrity, competence and spiritual love.

This Code of Ethics embodies certain standards of behavior for the minister in his/her professional relationships with those he/she serves, with colleagues, with other professions, and with the community.

In abiding by this Code of Ethics, the ministry views obligation in as wide a context as the situation requires, takes all principles into consideration and chooses a course of action consistent with the codes of spirit and intent.

Section 6:
Ministers shall forever hold in complete confidence any and all information entrusted to them by any person seeking their help, until such time as permission to divulge such information is clearly given by that person.
